ล่าสุด Oracle ออก VirtualBox 4.0.4 Build 70112 ซึ่งเป็นเวอร์ชันย่อยที่ออกมาเพื่อปรับปรุงการและแก้ปัญหาการทำงาน (Maintenance release) เวอร์ชันนี้ออกวันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 2554 โดยมี "การปรับปรุงใน VirtualBox 4.0.4 Build 70112:" ตามรายละเอียดด้านล่าง
