หลังจากปล่อย VirtualBox 3.2.0 เวอร์ชัน Beta ให้ได้ทดสอบกัน 2 ตัว ในที่สุด Oracle ก็ออกเวอร์ชันเสร็จสมบูรณ์ของ VirtualBox 3.2.0 Build 61806 โปรแกรมสำหรับใช้ในการจำลองระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ (Virtualization) เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2553 ที่ผ่านมา โดยเวอร์ชันใหม่นี้ถือเป็นเมเจอร์อัพเดทซึ่งมีการเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ใหม่หลายอย่างรวมถึงการเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น Oracle VM VirtualBox และการรองรับ Mac OS X guests (Experimental)
นอกจากนี้ ยังทำการการปรับปรุงการสถียรภาพทำงานให้ดีขึ้นและแก้ปัญหาต่างๆ ที่พบในเวอร์ชันก่อนหน้า โดย Oracle VM VirtualBox นั้นเป็นซอฟต์แวร์แบบ Open Source สามารถใช้งานได้ฟรีโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายภายใต้ไลเซนส์แบบ GNU General Public License (GPL)
