ออกเวอร์ชันอัปเดทใหม่อีกแล้ว สำหรับโปรแกรม CDBurnerXP เป็นโปรแกรมฟรีแวร์ (Freeware) สำหรับใช้ในการบันทึกข้อมูลลง CDs และ DVDs และยังสามารถบันทึกลงแผ่น Blu-Ray และ HD-DVDs ได้อีกด้วย โดยอัปเดทเป็นเวอร์ชัน 4.2.5.1541 เมื่อวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2552 ที่ผ่านมา
CDBurnerXP มีจุดเด่นในด้านการใช้งานที่ง่าย เนื่องจากมีอินเทอร์เฟชแบบ Multilanguage ที่สำคัญเป็นโปรแกรมที่ใช้งานได้ฟรี ทั้งการใช้งานในแบบส่วนตัวหรือการใช้งานในองค์กร โดยไม่ต้องกังวลว่าจะมีการแอบแฝงของ Adware หรือโค้ดไวรัส (Malicious) นอกจากนี้ยังมีคุณสมบัติการบันทึกและสร้างไฟล์ประเภท ISO อีกด้วย
การปรับปรุงในโปรแกรม CDBurnerXP 4.2.5.1541
ในโปรแกรม CDBurnerXP 4.2.5.1541 มีการปรับปรุงดังนี้
- เพิ่มวิธีการตรวจสอบความสมบูรณ์ของโครงสร้างของไฟล์
- แก้ไขปัญหาการแสดงขนาดปุ่ม "Overburn" เล็กเกินไปในบางภาษา
- แก้ไขปัญหา ArgumentException ในไดอะล็อกการตั้งค่า
- แก้ไขปัญหา FormatException เมื่อทำการตรวจสอบอัปเดท
- แก้ไขปัญหาการแสดง Error message ในกรณีที่โปรแกรม CDBurnerXP เริ่มต้นทำงานในบางกรณี
